And Finally

She walks!

I am a little late posting this, but I just wanted to show a video of our sweet gal walking. This is not the best video. She was struggling with the slope of the lawn, but you get the idea. Averie started taking steps around her birthday, but last week she finally started officially walking. She is so careful and slow. It is funny to watch her. She will probably speed up eventually, but for now she is extra cautious. Our little baby is now a toddler.

You get a new house!
Brian and I finally found our home! I feel pretty guilty for complaining so bad before. I am just impatient. Well we close July 13th so stay tuned for pictures. This is a terrible picture that I took on my phone, but I at least wanted you to see the outside. So do you want to know the crazy thing? One of the couples that lived in our current ward is actually going to be our new neighbors! How crazy is that? They moved a few months back and we never knew where they moved to. Turns out, they have good taste and built the house behind ours. Fun huh? I am going to LOVE our new place! I can't wait! PS if you know anyone that is looking to rent a three bedroom two and a half bath townhome in Riverton, please let me know! We need to get our place rented as soon as possible!

Daddies are the Best

Averie is such a lucky girl to have Brian as her Daddy. He shares such a special bond with her and I just know that she will always have him wrapped around her little finger. I am so grateful to have him. He makes life so much easier! I hope you have the best day Hon, I love you!

I would also like to tell my Dad, Happy Father's Day. He is the greatest support to me and my family. He has always been there for us and I know that I can always rely on him for anything. Thanks Dad, you are the best!

Some day I will find my motivation again...

Lately I have been the most lazy, unmotivated person in the world...
I seriously need to get my act together! My poor house that I refuse to clean. Partly because I am lazy and partly because I want a new house so bad that I just don't care about this one. Two minute quick rant.

I am so SICK of house hunting! We have been looking since Novemeber and waiting on a Short Sale since March. We recently just found out that we probably won't be getting the short sale so we have started looking again. We found a house last week, but decided last minute it wasn't the house for us. Just today I found another house I really liked, but it is already under contract! Urgh! I am so tired of not being able to find the "perfect" house. I know it is out there somewhere! We are just frustrated!

Thanks for listening. Back to my lack of motivation. I don't know what it is, I just can't get myself geared up to do much of anything. Hints why I hardly blog any more. Oh well. I am sure this is all just a phase. It is weird though, usually I get my second wind in the summer time. Maybe it never hit because it has been such a long dragging cold spring? I don't know what my problem is. I hope I snap out of it soon. Just one of those months, ya know?

Averie's First Year

I have been working on a book for Averie for the past year. I wanted her to have a book that had all of her monthly updates. It was a TON of work, but I can't wait until it arrives to see it in person. It will be so nice to look back through and I am sure Averie will love it when she is older. Feel free to click on the link and check out the preview. This is such a neat program if you ever want to make a book. Kind of pricey, but I think it will be worth it!

Times as of Late

I have not been very consistent keeping up on this blog lately. Life has been very busy the past few weeks. I started my new job and I absolutely love it so far. It has been a lot different than my job I had before. I am so busy! The time is just flying by. I am so much happier when I am busy at work. Maybe I won't be saying that in a couple of months, but for right now it is great.

So exciting news! In October, we are going here:



OAHU!!! Ah! I am so excited! We have not been on a vacation in 3 years. We are going with My brother, his wife, and my parents. It is going to be so much fun and very needed! The next few months are going to drag. I can't wait!

Introducing Easton Andy Payne

Whoa I am super behind on posting. I am going to do my best to catch up. Life has been wonderful and May 2nd we were blessed with a new nephew. Meet Easton:


He is such a sweet little guy. We were totally shocked with Easton's red hair. Both my brother and his wife have dark hair. Easton is so light complected. He is such a doll.

It was a long time waiting, but we are so glad to have this little guy here safe and sound!
