Eleven Months

Here are the weekly pictures from this month:

Our little bubba is almost a year old!  I can't believe that it has been almost a year since he joined our family.  The past month has been pretty rocky with Bryken.  He has been really sick.  He ended up catching bronchiolitis which was AWFUL!  The poor thing couldn't breath very well and had a terrible cough.  We had to take him to the hospital several times to be suctioned out.  There is nothing worse than seeing your little one so sick.  He would just lay around.

Even while he has been so sick, Bryken has tried to stay happy.  I just want him to get better.  During all of his sickness, he has had multiple ear infections.  We are finally to the point that he needs to get tubes in his ears.  Poor little guy.  I hope the tubes help and that we will be over all of this sickness!

When he hasn't been sick, he has been the most fun little guy.  He really loves playing with his toys and one of his favorite games is to knock over blocks as we build little towers for him.

We were able to hang out with some friends this month and Bryken got to play with his little friend Kaylee.  Kaylee is all over the place and was showing Bryken how to crawl.

They were so cute together!

Bryken started rolling over very early so I have been really surprised that he wasn't crawling by 10 months.  Well he finally figured it out this month.  We are so proud of him!

Was the crawling started, he has really started to explore and get into trouble.  No socks are safe with him on the loose.

He also has finally been able to catch Sergeant.  I don't think the two have really acknowledged one another since he was born until now.  Now that Bryken can crawl to him, Sergeant is having to deal with his new little buddy.

Bryken has this fascination with the stairs. Luckily, he hasn't figured out how to crawl up them yet.  I think that it is just a matter of time before he starts climbing them.

This little guy is starting to get up on his knees but he hasn't quite figured out how to pull himself up to stand.  He loves to stand up though whenever I will let him. I'm not quite ready for him to walk, I hope that is at least a few months away!

Bryken really loves to yell and scream and he will often yell back at you if you yell at him.  He is saying, "ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba, pa-pa".  He loves to snuggle and be sung to.  I just wish I had a better singing voice.  He loves to play peek-a-boo and will give you five if you hold your hand out.  He has started getting more attached to me and will cry when I walk away.  He also just started shaking his head no.

He is overall just a happy fun little guy and we just love him so much!  He completes our family!

Family Pictures

For Christmas this year I wanted to get both my parents and my in laws family pictures.  We were able to get my side of the family's done over Thanksgiving.  My family has not had our pictures taken for years!  It was so nice to get pictures of the entire family.

10 Months

Here are Bryken's weekly pictures:
40 Weeks

41 Weeks

42 Weeks

43 Weeks

This little monkey is getting so big!  Bryken is moving all over the place and he is getting so close to crawling.  I'm actually pretty surprised that he isn't crawling yet.  He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth.  He has started moving his hands a little but he will fall down on his tummy.

He is trying so hard to get around to everything.  I'm sure he is really close to getting there, but for now, I'm enjoying the limited mobility.

How cute is this boy on his hands and knees though?

Bryken still loves his jumper though.

This silly boy is crazy in the tub.  He splashes so much that he soaks everyone and everything.

Bryken loves being read to.  He loves his books.  It is so fun to be to this stage.

Bryken had his first Christmas this past month.  He was more interested in the wrapping paper and boxes than many of the toys, but he was a blast.

Bryken and Grandma Anderson.

Bryken got this stand and play table from his Grandparents.  He loves to stand up next to it.  Such a big boy!

Here the kids are Christmas Eve night ready for Santa.

This is Bryken on Christmas morning.

Bryken and Maycee on Christmas Day.  These two are going to be such good buddies.

We recently got a ton of snow over Christmas.  Naturally, I had to spend a ridiculous amount for a snowsuit for Bryken that he will probably wear once or twice.  He sure looked cute though.

He wasn't a big fan of the snow, but at least he was warm!

This month has been great with Bryken.  He is finally sleeping through the night.  It is absolute heaven.  Bryken will sleep from about 7:00 until we get him up in the morning for Daycare.  It is a huge improvement from the many interruptions we were getting a couple of months ago.

He started cutting another tooth this month.  Last month I thought there was a tooth cutting through the top but nothing actually came through.  He had four on top and three on the bottom.  He finally started cutting the fourth on the bottom so the little guy has eight teeth!  He is a biter too, which is fun.
Bryken is such a snugly baby.  I hope that he stays this way forever.  He always wants to be held and will rest his head on my chest.  He must know that I don't want him to grow up and it makes me cope with it better.  I love my little snugly guy.

He has really started talking a bunch this past month.  He still says, "Ma-ma" and "Da-da", but now he started saying, "Ba-ba" when he wants a bottle.  Averie is counting down the days until he starts saying her name.

We love our little guy.  What a blessing it is to have him!
