On Saturday Brian and I went to the Open House of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple with my family. It was such a neat experience. The temple was beautiful and peaceful. Even with all of the people walking around, it was very reverent. It just amazes me how everything in the temple is so gorgeous to the last detail. I loved it.This is Ryan and his girlfriend, Holly. Such a cute couple!
Mamma and Grizzly Adams-I mean Pappa- Payne. I have to give him a hard time about the beard.
After we finished the Open House, Brian and I headed to Lagoon with our friends, Rob and Christy. We went to Lagoon cause, well, "its where fun is!" We had such a good time, but we quickly realized that our bodies aren't as spry as they used to be. I have never been so nauseous and sore after just going on a couple of rides. I now understand why my parents were never that into amusement parks growing up. Even with the nausea and body aches, we had a fantastic time. They had an awesome deal going on at Lagoon. If you go after 5pm you and your date can get in for the price of one regular ticket. I think it was like 40 bucks. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Plus, Lagoon is a ton better once the sun starts to go down and most the people have left so the lines are short. We had a good time. We got our pictures taken "old western" style. I have always wanted to do this! It was pretty nasty and hot in the photo shop, but the pictures turned out pretty cute! Here are some pictures of Brian and I enjoying Rattle Snake Rapids. We got drenched. It felt so good in the 100 degree weather.Oh smoochy smooch. I had to throw this one in there cause I know ya'll like to see some PDA.
