Ugly Sweater Party

Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year. I love spending time with family and friends. This year Brian and I went to an "Ugly Sweater Party". The idea was to find the most hideous Christmas sweater and wear it out for a night of dining and bowling. You would think it would be easy to find something "ugly" at the store right? Nope. After a couple of hours of searching, my friends Lyndsey and Valarie gave up and settled for some "semi ugly" long sleeve shirts we found at Walmart. Next time I will be sure to go to D.I. because I am sure we would have found our treasure there. All I could find for Brian was a Snoopy T-shirt. The shirt said " I put the cool in Christmas" Ha ha. I thought he really made it classy with the collared shirt underneath and the top hat. Here is Valarie and I. We had matching shirts and I sported the beautiful wreath design and she wore the Christmas tree.
This is Lyndsey and her husband, Mike. Lyndsey also wore a matching shirt with Santa on it. Mike was very proud of his bow tie and Lyndsey was very proud that she tied it. Thank you You Tube!Lyndsey and I found these great socks at JCPenny. Of course we had to roll our pants up so everyone could check them out.

Oh and word to the wise...Bowling is not that comfortable when you are 22 weeks pregnant. I felt like my belly was ripping in half. I think I got an 85. At least I broke 50! Needless to say, I sat out the second game and Brian got to bowl for me. Well I hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas! Enjoy the Holidays!

Hey, looks like your ugly sweater bowling party was a blast! Sounds like a ton of fun. We have to find Andy an ugly sweater for his work party so I guess we need to start the hunt. I can't believe you are already 22 weeks... it's going by so fast! You look great!

What a cute idea! Nice tradition. Looks like the family party didn't make it this year. Hopefully next year so you can show off your new daughter!!!

You look great...enjoy every minute.
