Wow what a weekend!

This weekend was especially crazy. Saturday was Brian and I's Three year Wedding Anniversary. It also happened to be Brian's Graduation from Utah State. Since the graduation was in Logan, we didn't have time to celebrate our anniversary. We are hoping that next weekend will give us more time to celebrate.

I am so proud of Brian for graduating. It has been a long road, but he finally did it!
Let me tell ya how much harder it is to go out of town with a baby. Oh my gosh it took me about two and a half hours to get the car packed, Averie fed, Averie changed, Averie fed again, and myself ready. It takes a little more planning, but she is still worth it! I had my sister, Kylee watch her while I went to the graduation. I was really nervous to take her with that many people around. Kylee said that she did good while I was gone, but I was freaking out a little bit. It's weird to leave her when she has been with me every day, all day for the past 10 months. I guess it is good practice to leave her once in a while to get ready for when I have to go back to work :(

Well as long as I am on the subject of little Avie girl, here are some more recent pictures.
I don't care what you think-She IS smiling at me! I don't care if she is only two weeks old. She knows how to smile :) Can you believe she is two weeks already? I certainly can't. The time is just flying by. It is so fun to see her change everyday. Her umbilical cord finally fell off this weekend so Brian has told her that she is all grown up and it's time to get a job!
Here she is sleeping all stretched out in her cute Mother's Day outfit.
And last but not least, my favorite. She just kills me when she is wide eyed. I can't get enough of this silly girl.Well in honor of Mother's Day I would also like to tell my mom how grateful I am for her, even though she decided to go to Hawaii this past week without me! She is such an awesome mom. She sacrifices so much for us kids. She has been such a huge help with Averie, and I can't thank her enough. I hope that I can be as good as a mom to Averie as she has been to me. I love you Mom! Happy Mother's Day to all you other mommies out there!

Being a mother looks so good on you! Thanks for sharing the super cute pictures and for inviting me to your blog! I love it! I hope you are doing awesome. And sorry I haven't been able to call to go out to lunch! It has been so crazy and I haven't had any time for myself since I have been here, so I apologize! Hopefully when I come through again in a couple of months we can meet up!

Oh my goodness!!! I feel like I've missed so much!! Averie is getting so stinkin' big. I can't wait to see her. I have some little presents from Hawaii for her that I need to come by and give you (really it's just an excuse to hold her!!) And if you guys want to go out to dinner or something this weekend for your anniversary, let us know and Andy and I can watch little Averie for you. I'm so happy you had a wonderful first mother's day and that the graduation went well. Congrats to Brian!!!
