Think Positively

So it has been a couple of weeks since I have posted, but I really didn't want to rain negativity in the air. I will be brief, but I do want to mention my last two glorious weeks of work.

We got an upgraded PACS system recently at the hospital...
It has not had a single problem...
It has been just a minor adjustment for everyone...Ok so maybe the biggest thing to happen to us all year!
Computers are my best friend right now...

Well in case you couldn't catch the sarcasm in my tone, I will just enlighten you. The past couple of weeks have been absolutely maddenning crazy! I don't think I fully appreciated the people that did my job that I have now back when I was a Xray tech. There is so much that goes into getting a new PACS System. What is a PACS system you say? Well it is a fabulous system that allows all the diagnostic images of patients in a healthcare setting to be archived and viewed. If you are looking for more information-cause I know you are dying to know- just follow the link above. Anyway, it has been such a crazy ride. Imagine having a physician ask you why something on the computer that should normally work, and up until this point has worked, all the sudden does not work. Plus I need to fix it immediately because it is urgent. Whew talk about pressure! I have learned so much about my job and I feel like I have gained 10 years of experience in just a couple of short- um did I just say short? I meant LLLLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG- weeks. Thankfully I have a supportive husband, who hasn't minded the 20 hours a week of overtime, and wonderful coworkers. Everyone has been so patient with me and kind. I feel lucky to work with such great people. It makes this otherwise stressful experience bearable. Anyway, that it what I have been up to lately. Hopefully, my next post will include lots of pictures of fourwheeling. I am dying to get out there and ride!

I think I'm going to throw up!

I just paid off 8000 dollars of school loans. What a sickening, angering relief. Sickening because the things I could buy with 8000 dollars, and angering that school was so expensive! At the same time there is that small amount of relief that I will never have to worry about when I will pay off my loans ever again. Oh gees...I hate being responsible...

2 years down, many more to go!

Friday was our 2 year Anniversary, and let me just say,
I LOVE THIS GUY!!
Brian is the person in this world who totally completes me. As corny as that sounds, I mean it! I don't know what I would do without him. We had such a good anniversary. Brian suprised me and took me to the Roof for our anniversary.I have always wanted to eat there and it was perfect. We had the most gorgeous view of the temple. Our table was right by the window in front of the temple. The sun started to set and of course we had to take some pictures. It was such a fun night. Check out the beautiful earrings Brian got me. "He went to Jared" :)
Brian got a new toy for his truck. Not the four wheeler. Just the ramp to drive it into. Not as cool as the earrings, but I think he liked it!
These are some pictures of our Four Wheeling adventure from Saturday. We had to test out the new Ramp! We went to Five Mile Pass out past Eagle Mountain. It was so much fun. I learned a valuable lesson while we were there...Apparently, ATVs need gas. Who would have thought? Thank goodness for reserve tanks. My four wheeler ran out of gas about half way through our ride. I had to hurry and drive back to the truck on the reserve so I could fill er up. Whew, that was a close one! Here Brian is being a sexy stud, showing off for all the ladies! (Well just one lady, but I sure liked it)
Oh and aren't we amazing to get this picture on the first shot? -NOT- I think Brian had to do this about 13 times before we finally got it. Pretty impressive though right?
Can you see how dusty my pink-er-red shirt is? I was filthy by the time we were done riding. I had dust EVERYWHERE. To finish the day off we had hotdogs! In the sky? What a crazy looking cloud! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Good thing I always have my camera around. You all would have missed out! Well now that I have thrown out all the randomness of the weekend, I would just like to say "Happy Mother's Day" to all you mommas out there. You guys are amazing!
