Tonight is the Night

Tonight is the most important night of Television History. Tonight is the season premieres for Grey's Anatomy and the Office. Oh my gosh, I just watched to preview for Grey's Anatomy and I got chills. McDreamy better not die or I am not watching the rest of the season! I am excited for Office too, but lets be honest, Grey's Anatomy is way more important!

Gripes!!

I want everyone to count in their head how many cell phones they have gone through due only to misfortune. Not because you wanted a new one, but because you did something incredibly stupid and the phone was destroyed. Ok now that you have that number lets compare. Of the phones that I can think of off the top of my head, Brian and I have gone through NINE cell phones in 5 years! And that is without asking him, I just thought of the ones that I knew of. Out of the nine, six of the phones were mine. Oops. My latest mistake:
So I thought that I would finish off my Friday night with a nice relaxing bath. I was in the middle of having a text conversation with my friend Liz so I took my phone into the bathroom and placed it on the side of the tub. That was my first mistake. I was thinking the entire time, "Oh I really shouldn't have my phone this close to the tub full of water, but eh-" Well then here comes Sergeant (my dog) who has to sit in the bathroom when I take baths to try to drink the bath water. He starts sniffing around the tub and the next thing I know, he pushes my phone into the tub with me. Bad dog! I pulled it out instantly and dried it off. I have it sitting in a zip lock baggy full of rice right now, hoping that it will work tomorrow.

This phone wouldn't be such a big deal, but I broke my other phone about two weeks ago when I dropped it when it was open. The screen broke off. Oops. The phone before that was kneeled on by my dear sweet husband and the screen broke. Ooops. Two phones before that were stolen when my purse was also stolen.Oooops, Ooooops. Finally, the first phone that I had that broke was due to intense dialing. I must have pushed the buttons too hard, because they would get stuck or never work. Oooooops. (Brian's three phones' deaths were also all due to accidental submersion of water. )

Moral of the story? Don't ever spend more on a phone than you want to spend to replace it. If you are like me, just try to get your phones for free!

I have a confession...

I am OBSESSED with America's Next Top Model. I know it's embarrassing, but I can't help it! I have seen all ten seasons so far and now I am watching the eleventh. This season is a little cheesey, but so GOOD! (but then I think all the seasons are good. ha ha) So here is my little tribute to the girls sent home so far:
Sharaun (The first to go! Thank goodness!) I am sorry but this girl really bugged. I don't like the girls that introduce themselves as America's Next Top Model before the show gets going. She was annoying.

Nikeysha (The second to go!) Nikeysha was okay, but she was very mouthy.

Brittany (The third to go!) Brittany is so beautiful! She mentions on the show that she is African American and Native American. I think she has such beautiful features. She went home because the judges thought she was only a "pretty" girl, not a model. Boo!

So far those are the only girls that have gone home. My prediction is that Elina will win. She has some very interesting views, but I think she is absolutely stunning! The episode that I watched tonight had the notorious make overs. Elina was given a giant red fro to work with. She still looked amazing. I am rooting for her!

So I wasn't going to mention "Isis" yet, but I think I will. Isis is probably the most controversial "girl" to ever be on America's Next Top Model. I parenthesize "girl" because she is a BOY! I don't know how I feel about this one, but I guess they will do anything for ratings. She (geez I feel weird calling him a she) isn't that bad, so I guess she should be given the same opportunity as everyone else. I don't think she will win, but I think they will keep her on for a while...

Unfortunately for some of you I am going to continue posting about this secret pleasure of mine until the season is over! For those of you that enjoy the show, I will keep you updated with new pictures and info!
