Three Months

I can't believe that three months have passed since this happy little boy joined our family.  I feel like the time has just flown by and it is going way too fast!  Here are the weekly pictures from this month:
9 Weeks

10 Weeks

11 Weeks

12 Weeks

I just love seeing him progress every week.  He is really starting to get some personality.  Bryken is very active and talkative.  If you lay him on his back under his baby gyms, he will just kick like crazy and talk nonstop.  I love his little voice.  It is by far the cutest thing I have ever heard.

The smiles just kill me.  He is so dang cute!

One of my coworkers made this adorable beanie.  It fit his head just perfectly!

This little man is really starting to get some chub on him.  If you haven't met Bryken's cheeks yet, let me introduce you.

Seriously, too cute for words right?  I love my chubba wubba.

Bryken is starting to get a lot more strength in his neck and has started holding his head up more and more.  Sometimes he will hold it all the way up and look around when he is laying on his tummy.

This little boy has the most confusing eyes.  They really look brown in this picture, but I'm not sure.  What do you think?  It's weird because in person they really look green and sometimes blue.  Maybe they are going to be hazel, who knows!  They are some of the prettiest eyes I've ever seen though.

Bryken has really started preferring his binkie.  He only likes the Nuk brand, unlike his sister who preferred the hospital soothies.
Bryken found his hands this month.  He cannot keep them out of his mouth.  He is constantly sucking on them.  When he doesn't have them in his mouth, he is clasping them together.
I love this picture of him.  He looks like he is ready for a big discussion like, "Mommy, we need to talk about why you always have me on all of this girl stuff?".

Bryken is sleeping so much better now.  He starts to get really fussy around 8:00.  He wants to be swaddled and put down for the night.  He will sometimes sleep until 3:00 am which is awesome!  After waking up for the first time, I will feed him and then put him down in his playpen.  From there he usually just ends up in bed with us until it is time to wake up. I don't know how much longer the swaddling will last.  He has started to escape the blankets!

Bryken is just loving his big sissy.  They are so fun together and Averie keeps asking when Bryken is going to grow up so that she can play with him.  My heart really started to hurt when she said that.  It is so tender that she just wants to play and interact with him, but I am not ready for him to grow up!

My sister, Kylee, and I have been lucky enough to be pregnant together twice!  Averie and Caleb are exactly a month apart.  I  told Kylee to have Bennett on the 5th of May so that they would be exactly 2 months apart but she didn't listen to me and had him on the 6th instead.  It is so fun to have cousins so close in age!  I have a feeling there will be many more matching outfit pictures to come.

Bryken is still loving his baths.  He just loves the water.

So do you remember Bryken's gorgeous hair when he was born?

He still has hair, but it's looking a little sad these days.  It is starting to grow in blond and it doesn't look quite as thick as it was.  Poor kiddo has rubbed all of it off in the back too.  Brian is threatening to shave it off, hopefully it fills in soon!  (don't worry, I would never let him shave it off)

Speaking of crazy hair, remember how crazy Averie's hair was when she was a baby?  I found this picture and couldn't believe how much she and Bryken look alike.
His head is a bit bigger but they definitely look like siblings in these pictures.
As I go through pictures it is hard to pick my favorites for the blog.  Here are some more that I just adore of this little guy.  Happy three months sweet boy!
