6 Months

I don't know how we are already to six months with this little dude.  The time has just flown by and I am loving every moment with this kiddo.  Every week he is just changing so much and he has such a fun personality.

Have you ever seen a more handsome happy little guy?  I just love that smile.  His teeth are just too cute.  We still only have two teeth but I can see more starting.  I'm a little surprised that they haven't popped through yet.

Bryken is full of milestones this week.  He is starting to sit up by himself.  He can hold himself up but he is still tipping over every now and then.  I bet he is going to be sitting up soon!

He eventually gets tired and gives up.  LOL.

Along with sitting, we are getting very close to having a crawler.  Bryken rolls and scoots around.  I'm relieved that he isn't full on crawling, but I'm sure we don't have a lot of time left until he is.

Hello Ladies.  What a handsome little devil.

All this posing is hard work.

Bryken is FINALLY sleeping most of the night.  We are only getting up once a night now.  Occasionally we will still get up twice a night but I'm not complaining.  He loves to sleep on his side and he loves having his blanket up on his face.

Bryken is eating food and he loves carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, apple sauce, and green beans.  He is not a fan of bananas or peaches.  What a weird kid!

Do I have something on my face?

Averie loves to feed her brother.

Bryken has really found his voice and he is constantly squealing and screeching.  He may look innocent but he likes to scream at the most inopportune times.

Bryken is to the age that he loves to observe everything around him and he likes to constantly be entertained.  He loves being pushed around in the stroller and he loves to be carried in the wrap.  We just went to San Francisco and Bryken had his first airplane ride.  He did so good on the plane.

Such a happy kid in the stroller.

We were able to go to Muir Woods and he was such a good little man.  Look how grown up he looks!

This was taken at Muir Beach.  Such a beautiful place.  I promise Bryken was happy.

This kid looks so much like his Daddy.  He is totally a mini Brian.  I found this adorable hat for him and it is totally something Bri would wear.

Speaking of Daddy, Bryken just loves his Daddy.  He does the cutest thing when Brian gives him a bottle.  He starts to smack himself in the head softly.  It is so funny!  Did I mention that Bryken wouldn't take a bottle from me?  Yeah that has been fun this month since my milk is starting to dry up.  Luckily, he is finally getting over it and I can give him a bottle if there are no other options.

Oh how I love this kid!  We are so glad to have him in our family.
