Merry Christmas...Just a little Late

I don't know about anyone else out there, but Christmas really snuck up on us this year. It came so fast and was over before we knew it. It was so nice to have the time off from work and spend time with our families. Brian and I went to Tremonton to spend Christmas Eve with his family. We have been doing this for the past few years and it has become an Anderson Family tradition. We had dinner and exchanged gifts, but due to Brian and my stomach flu, and the weather, we left really early this year. It was nice to see everyone and thanks so much for the awesome gifts!

We spent Christmas Eve playing with our newly aquired items (Satellite Radio, things for the house, and not to mention the remote control bug (that actually flies) Brian received). We finally got to bed around 2am and woke up a few hours later. We packed up the car with more gifts and headed to American Fork to see my family.
We spent all day with my family and we were feeling much better than the day before. We opened more gifts and played video games all day with the family. Thanks everyone for everything! Thank you Brian especially for spoiling me.
Behold, the greatest gift ever given:

No it is not a new car, but pay attention to the spiffy key ring. He had an automatic start installed in my car. Remember how much I just "love" winter? Well I can start my car from anywhere now and it will be nice and toasty by the time I get in it! YAY! Best gift ever! The best thing is that I would have never thought of it! Brian is just so in tune with my needs that he thought of it all by himself! Thanks honey, YOU ROCKED Christmas this year!:)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year!

Christmas Shopping... done?

Yes that's right, as of two hours ago I finished my Christmas shopping. I know it is horrible, I am going to miss out on Christmas Eve madness this year. Why oh why would I ever want to get done early? I love experiencing the crowds of gift grabbing lunatics. The road ragers I encounter every year always give me an educational course of defensive driving. I have never finished my Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve and now I've broke tradition... Oh well, at least I won't be feeling like the woman this year.

(Thanks Stephanie for the brillant picture- I laughed so hard when I saw this)

My Little Angel

Sure, he may look sweet, but don't let this adorable bag of slobber deceive you. Our little darling was very, verRY, VERY naughty today. Sergeant spends his days locked in his kennel while Brian and I are working. Most people say that this is very healthy for the dog. Their kennel becomes their "safe" haven, and it is perfectly humane to keep them in a kennel during the day. I have always felt horrible about leaving Sergeant in the kennel all day. It makes me feel like a bad mamma leaving him locked up in such a small place. Well last night I had this GENIUS idea. Why not leave Sergeant in the bathroom? He will have more room to move around, and I won't feel so guilty for leaving him alone all day. Well this is what I get for being so thoughtful of my little baby...

Notice the bark collar on the floor. Sergeant barks when we are at work so we have him where the collar to keep him from barking. Smart little butt, he managed to get it off today, along with all of the other chaos...

Yes that is a full length mirror, destroyed! And Yes, that is Sergeant's blood.

Oh and did I mention how considerate Sergeant was when he "pottied" in the bathroom? He climbed in the tub and peed on the bathroom rug. I put the rug in the tub because I didn't want him to chew it to pieces. Oh I love my little Angel.
