I know, I know

It's been awhile. I have been wanting to post for a couple of weeks now, but honestly I have been a little depressed. Who wants to post when they are feeling that way? All you end up doing is complaining and that is no fun to look back on. So I promised myself that I wasn't going to post anything until I could think of something positive to write about. Well I couldn't believe I thought I didn't have anything positive to write about. Afterall I have this amazing little girl.
And this amazing man is my husband. And even though my job is the reason I have been depressed, at least I have one. I am lucky to be able to work where I do, and even though I hate being away from Averie it is a great job. Plus I have been fortunate enough to have my mom watching Averie for me. She is so great with her and it just puts me at ease knowing she is with her grandma. I am dreading having to take her to daycare in a couple of weeks.
So anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know, that we are still alive and all is well. Averie turns 4 months next week and I can't wait to do her big "birthday" post. She has changed so much and I can't wait to tell you all about it! Until then, I will put a smile on my face and be grateful for life's challenges.

I hate feeling that way!:( I think you are completely normal though. Way to stay positive. Oh my goodness, you do have a gorgeous little one. She is so beautiful and seems like she would be such a great baby! Can't wait to see the birthday post! Love it!;)

Working with a new baby at home is hard. I dealt w/teachers who would come into the office in tears when they came back from maternity leave. She will be fine. You have good things going on in your life with a job, family and husband (and dog). It will all work out...and think of all the people's lives you touch when you're at work. You're helping them cope with things going on in their lives.

Kellie, you are so sweet! I can only imagine how hard it must be to leave that little one at home.
