Be nice, I realize I have tripled in size since my last picture. It's ok though, I like my butt this big ;)

Two Down, One to Go!
This post is about a week late, but I thought I would put it up anyway. I finally made it to the Third Trimester! Wha Hooo! Reality is setting in and I am starting to get really excited, but really anxious at the same time. I keep having these bizarre dreams. Last night for example, I had this dream that I left "Addison" (that was her name in the dream) in her car seat in the trunk of the car overnight. I was in the house and I looked at the clock and realized it was 6 am and I needed to go get her "up". Like it was no big deal that I left her in the TRUNK OVERNIGHT! A few weeks ago I had a dream that we went over to my parents house on a Saturday and just left the baby in the crib because she was asleep. Well we stayed at my parents until about noon when my mom asked, "where's the baby?" Then I responded, "Oh she's fine. We just left her home because she was sleeping." After that we decided to go back to the house and when we got there the baby was dead! How horrible huh? Do you think I have a little anxiety about not knowing how to take care of a baby? Of course I would think that I am smart enough to know that you don't leave your kid in the trunk! I'm sure I will figure it all out, but some days I worry that I won't know what to do. Well I didn't want to post this picture, but for those of you that would like to see me expand right before your eyes:

What Saturdays are For
This weekend has been especially nice and somewhat relaxing. I have spent the past couple of weeks in Richfield for work and it was so nice to finally be home! Being 3 hours away and pregnant..not the best experience I've ever had. Brian and I started off the day by heading to Target and Babies R Us. Yup folks, we are finally registered! I am going to have to go online and add a few more items. I sort of lost patience in Babies R Us and didn't finish registering. I mean do they really need to give you the 30 minute spill about how to register? Just give me the bar code scanner and send me on my way already!
Once we got home I got to work on a few of my projects that I have been putting off. Here it is 11:30 at night and all I have to show for my Saturday are these two projects.
The first one I worked on was a Car Seat Canopy. I could not believe how incredibly EASY this was to make. Anyone who goes out and spends 30-40 dollars on one of these is CRAZY! I think it turned out so cute. I am a little bit obsessed with black and pink. Can ya tell by seeing the blanket that I made in the background? Notice the nursery is still blue. It won't be for long! The bedding set should be coming in the mail this week and I cannot wait to get the room finished! That will be next weekend's project...

The second project was not as easy as the first. Since I have started being a little obsessed with bows and girlie things, I have struggled to find a way to store them. I tried putting them in a basket and the bows would get all smashed and messed up. I came up with this little wall hanging to do the trick.
Notice how I am already running out of room to hang the bows on. Did I mention I was obsessed? I guess this will control my obsession. Once I run out of room on the fabric strips, I will have to stop making so many hair accessories!
Well to finish up the post I have to put this picture up. Such a silly boy, he makes me laugh! I hope everyone had as nice of a weekend as we did. Oh and don't forget to vote for a name on the right side of my blog page. We need all the help we can get naming our little one!

Just because I feel like it
Today I feel like telling everyone how much I love my husband. He has been so good to me and I just want everyone to know how lucky I am. Anyone who puts up with a hormonal agitated woman inching into her third trimester needs some honorable mention right? Thanks honey for everything and mostly for just agreeing with every insane, rude or sometimes accurate remark I make. I know you may be just be keeping the peace, but I certainly am grateful for such a peaceful home right now.

Trying out a new Hobby
Over the past few months I have been eying cute girlie things. There are so many cute things out there! I can't believe how expensive everything is though... It's a good thing that I am a really big cheapo or we might be broke by now. Well a couple of weeks ago I decided to give myself a new hobby. I went to Hobby Lobby of course and bought one of these:
Then I decided to buy a lot of this stuff (all 50% off of course):
The finished product? Lots and lots of these:
What do you think? Is this little girl going to be girlie enough?

I did it!
6 months BABY! I am getting closer and closer every week!
I wish I could say, "Oh this is going by too fast!" but really I am not the most patient person in the world. If I had it my way, we would only be pregnant for six months. I mean do we really need 9 (well actually 10) months to prepare? Well I guess it is a good thing I still have a few more months because we are not completely ready. I am enjoying this stage much more than the first 5 months though. I am not puking nearly as much as I was. I love the feeling of feeling her move around in my belly. It is the most amazing feeling. She is a very active little girl. Come on Volleyball player! It is funny to see how her personality is developing even though she hasn't even been born. For example, she hates the ultrasound machine/doppler. Everytime I have had an ultrasound she turns her back to the probe. Which explains why I do not have a single good ultrasound picture of her. Whenever they check the heart rate in the office she starts kicking and moving like crazy. It is so funny because it is so loud on the doppler and they always have a hard time finding the heartbeat. She also is following her dad's suit with being a night owl. I'm sure a lot of babies are this way but I like to compare her to her daddy. She really starts getting active around 8-9 o'clock at night. She likes to bounce off my bladder about 4 times a night so I am constantly up. She usually sleeps in because I don't start feeling her until about 10am. (I hope that trend stays)
Now if only we had a name for her! Naming a child is very hard! I always had my "names" growing up, but its amazing how quick my mind has changed on them. Right now we have two names picked out, but we can't decide! I just keep waiting for some revelation to tell me that "yes, that is the name", but nothing... We may have to just wait until she is born before we decide.
Well I could honestly bla bla bla all day about being pregnant so I will cut it short. Its just such a neat experience and I would highly recommend it:) Ha ha. Only 16 weeks to go!
Merry Christmas to All!
Well how was everyone's Christmas? We had a very good one this year. Every year we spend Christmas Eve at Brian's parents and Christmas at my parents. It is awesome because we get to see everyone and we get to have two Christmases. :) We spent Christmas Eve morning playing games, eating and opening gifts.
My niece, Cierra, brought her sugar glider with her to Grandma's. I had never in my life seen one of these! They are like a mix between a hamster and a flying squirel. My emphasis on the flying squirel. Here I am holding the cute little thing when two seconds later...

Well he always spoils me, but this year I was especially spoiled. He got me this awesome new camera!
I really wanted a nice camera so that we can take lots and lots of pictures of our little girl. I didn't have any idea what camera I wanted, but I think Brian did an awesome job picking this one out. I love it! He even got me some free photography classes so that I can figure out out to use it. I have started taking pictures of everything to try to get the hang of it so hopefully the classes will help. Well I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
It's on my head!

Happy Anniversary of Sorts
Three years ago today Brian and I went to go see the Christmas lights at Temple Square, went on a romantic carriage ride, and ended up 'officially' starting our lives together. I can't believe it has been three years since Brian proposed to me. It has been the most amazing three years too. We have made so many memories together and there are many more to come. One of our favorite traditions is going to see the Christmas Lights. We have gone every year since we started dating, with the exception of the year Brian was in Iraq. I think that is why it was so special that he proposed where he did. I love this man with all of my heart and I can't wait for the future years to come and share with him. This year we went to see the lights with my Andy, AmyLyn, Ryan and his girlfriend Holly.
The night was perfect. We didn't freeze too bad and we finished the evening at my house with Hot Chocolate and Cinnamon Rolls. Here are some more pictures of the evening:
Even though I hate the freezing cold weather, Christmas time really is such a special time of year. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope that everyone enjoys their holiday with their families and has a wonderful and safe Holiday!
